Transparency

Accountability

Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy of Arizona is a tuition-free public charter school authorized by the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools (ASBCS). As an Arizona public charter holder, PTAA Arizona is accountable to ASBCS for academic performance, fiscal integrity, and faithful adherence to its charter contract, and to the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) for statewide assessment and reporting requirements.

Academic, Financial & Operational Performance

ASBCS publishes each charter holder’s academic, financial, and operational performance through its public Performance Dashboard. Families, community members, and the authorizer can review PTAA Arizona’s most current results at any time:

State Assessment & Letter Grades

Arizona measures public schools through the statewide assessment program and the A–F School Letter Grades published by the State Board of Education and the Arizona Department of Education. These results reflect student proficiency and academic growth in English language arts, mathematics, and science. PTAA Arizona uses these measures, together with our own formative assessments, to identify each student’s strengths and learning gaps and to set every child on the right path.

Public Transparency

In keeping with Arizona’s public-records and open-meeting laws, PTAA Arizona posts its Governing Board meeting notices and agendas, annual budget and budget-hearing notice, average teacher salary information, and its point of contact for public-records requests. Use the links below to reach each required posting:
